The Peony I’ve Been Waiting For

What a difference a few hours makes. This morning, still a bud. Several hours of sunshine later….

Here’s an overhead of the bush:

And I tried my hand again this morning at capturing the bees buzzing about in the rhododendron.  Here is one of the busy fellas:

  3. Thanks! I like the new template also, though it claims I can change the title text color and cannot seem to figure it out. Isn’t the flying bee so cute?

  4. Sarah, I use a Sony Alpha 100 with the 75-300 zoom lens. It is cheaper than Canon and Nikon and I’ve been very pleased with it. I’m saving up now for the Macro lens.

    I’m looking so forward to my peony blooms!

  5. I love your picture of the bee, and your peonies are beautiful! It won’t be long before they are blooming in my garden as well – I can’t wait!
