Pageants and Parties

Posted on

Clark had his school Christmas program this morning.  Just like last year he chose not to wear the costume, so he really stands out amongst the other children.  He did a great job singing and participating and we were ever so proud of him.

Then this afternoon Clark and Tabby had a tea party.  Yes, I gave them real tea in the tiny teapot and teacups.  Yes, they spilled a little. But they had a lovely time and here are some lovely pictures.

What could be sweeter than a tea party?

  1. That’s so sweet! A tea party after a Christmas pageant? Does it get any better than that? I love the composition in the picture of Tabitha blowing the steam off the hot tea!

  2. I love your tea set! Ladybugs, so cute – not as cute as the kids themselves, though. We used to have faux tea parties when I was a kid. We drank red kool-aid and ate saltines, which we thought was the height of awesome.

  3. Tea parties are great, aren’t they? We gave her the tea set for her 2nd birthday. I thought it was adorable and didn’t care that it’s fragile and pieces might break because I figured she’ll have many tea sets in her life and I”m happy for her to use it! Clark loves it too. I’m going to sew a little napkin to go with it.
