Getting My Money’s Worth Out of This Pattern

Posted on

Before we left for vacation I made myself another one of these tops.  This time I kept it sleeveless, rounded the edges of the V, and opted to see how it holds up without using any interfacing.  I had picked up this red fabric during my last Jo-Ann’s frenzy.  Here it was in progress:

I do like it, but it did feel kind of boxy and made me wonder if I was not helping my figure out any.

Now that we are back from vacation I mus really get to work on the sewing projects that demand my attention: a jewelry roll for sister in law’s birthday (which was almost a month ago), quilt for friend’s baby due in May, another quilt for a month later, followed by yet another quilt for the following month, and the dress for me. Good luck to me!
