Spring Cleaning

Posted on

I thought I’d get a good post in today, but we ended up going on a massive spring cleaning of the house.  That wasn’t the only sign of spring this weekend-our first crocuses came up and bloomed:

The kids very agreeably played the whole day together while we cleaned.  Oh, and Tabby does look very adorable wearing her glasses but I see now that it is quite a trick to get a three year old to keep them on. (In this picture she is not wearing them because I’m afraid that if she wears them when they roughhouse they will get broken. Nonetheless, later in the day she was wearing them while sitting on the back of couch and fell off of it landing on the floor with a tremendous thud and the glasses being flung off (but not broken.) )

We planted the snow peas yesterday (no pictures-it’s just dirt!), which made me feel very excited for the garden. No sign yet of the asparagus coming up.

And finally, I got back to the apron making and made a beautiful apron.  See it here. Now, with a clean house and spring in the air, I am hoping to sew a whole lot more.
