Pumpkin Patch Time

This very busy weekend included one of my favorite highlights of the year-pumpkin picking!! We’ve been going to the same place (just a couple miles from here) every year since Clark was born.

I think that pumpkin patch trips may be my #1 favorite photo op of the year. The bright blue October skies,

We had a nice afternoon selecting our pumpkins and gourds.

We love the crazy gourd shapes, especially the snake gourds.

And Clark has been taking the most flattering pictures of us lately!

We’ll be doing the carving tonight and we’ve been hard at work on Halloween costumes.  We’re definitely feeling the fun of fall (and the chill-Paul’s been chopping wood and we’ve had fires a couple of days to warm the house.)
